Running sucks... yet here we are

I swore off running a long time ago. I chuckled to myself at how miserable all the runners near my house looked… but with an ever increasing waistline and total absence of cardio, I’d decided I could hide behind this excuse no longer. Yoga alone wasn’t going to sort me out and walking, though I love it, just wasn’t placing enough stress on my body to improve much.

 

My goal is weight loss, yes, but it’s also being able to hold a conversation with someone when walking uphill… and not being immobile when I’m old.
